Celestial Bodies is a reflection of my ongoing journey to find balance between feeling grounded and reaching for something beyond myself. This piece was born from moments when I’ve needed to escape the heaviness of life while also seeking a way to stay rooted. The texture of plaster and the shimmer of mica remind me of the earth’s comforting presence, while the cosmic expanse allows me to breathe deeply into the unknown. It’s about finding peace in the mystery—the blend of what’s familiar and what’s out of reach. This painting reflects my desire to feel safe while also embracing the vastness that lies ahead, inviting anyone who experiences it to do the same.
