Celestial Path

This painting was born from a feeling that has always guided me—my connection to nature, the cosmos, and the unknown. Growing up, I was taught to look for security in places that never felt right to me. But I always found my true sense of safety in nature, especially in the vastness of the sky and the stars above. There’s something deeply grounding about standing beneath a sky full of stars and realizing how small we really are. That sense of being both insignificant and deeply connected to everything all at once—it’s where I find peace.

"Celestial Path" is a reflection of that journey. The swirling blues and whites, like stars and galaxies stretching out across the canvas, are a reminder that there is always a path forward, even in the darkest spaces. It's about the unknown, the mystery of life, and learning to trust where the path leads, even when we can’t see the destination.

I used layers of acrylic paint to build up the deep, rich blues and added texture with plaster to create that sense of depth, like you’re staring into the night sky and seeing layers of stars. The flowing white represents the energy that guides us through our struggles—the pull towards light and peace. It’s as if the cosmos are calling us to let go and simply trust the journey.

This piece represents more than just the stars; it’s a reflection of my own journey—moving away from the expectations placed on me and finding my own path. It’s a reminder to anyone who feels lost or disconnected that we’re all part of something much bigger, and the path we’re on, even when uncertain, is always leading us home.

My hope is that this painting brings you the same sense of tranquility and connection that I felt creating it. It’s a reminder to breathe, let go, and trust the path you’re on—even when it feels uncertain.
