Yellow Rose Garden

This piece came to life one afternoon while I was in my backyard, surrounded by the beauty of my own Yellow Lady Banks roses. Watching them bloom, I felt a deep sense of calm and connection to nature, almost like they were sharing their peace with me. Those moments of stillness in the garden, where everything else fades away, inspired me to channel that tranquility into this painting. It’s a reflection of how I experience my garden as a sanctuary—where anxiety softens and I can feel at peace, grounded by nature's gentle embrace. Each layer of green and gold in this piece mirrors the feeling of standing in the sunlight, witnessing those roses bloom, and allowing that light to guide me into a quieter, more centered space. It’s my way of bottling that quiet joy, hoping to bring that same peace into the homes of others.
