It all begins in nature
Pictures are never enough. Especially with such highly detailed works of art. Enjoy these videos of details from select paintings.
Resonance
Resonance captures the profound connection between nature, the cosmos, and the emotions that stir within us. It reflects my belief that we are all part of a larger, interconnected energy that flows through the natural world and the universe beyond. The deep purples, delicate cymbidium and Phalaenopsis orchids, and cosmic textures evoke a sense of harmony—between the earth and the stars, and within ourselves.
Incorporating real cymbidium and Phalaenopsis orchids, as well as amethyst crystals, this piece speaks to the grounding power of nature and its ability to resonate with our innermost emotions. The amethysts, known for their spiritual properties, enhance the cosmic flow and peaceful energy of the painting.
As an artist, I seek to bring the grounding power of nature into my work, merging it with the ethereal beauty of the cosmos. For me, painting is more than just creation—it's a journey towards peace, a way to navigate through the complexities of life and return to a state of tranquility. This piece, like much of my work, represents the healing energy I find in nature and the universe, a place where I can breathe deeply and feel at home.
I hope Resonance invites you to experience the same calm and connection, offering a reminder that even in the chaos, there is always harmony waiting to be found.

Transcendence
Transcendence” is more than just a painting—it’s a reflection of my emotional journey. It was born out of a need to rise above the overwhelming noise of everyday life, to escape the anxiety that has been a constant companion, and find my way back to peace. The orchids, delicate yet resilient, represent that fragile strength it takes to navigate through the darker moments.
Creating this piece was like breathing deeply, letting go, and stepping into a more tranquil space within myself. Every layer of black and white carries a part of that emotional shift—from chaos to stillness, from tension to calm. My hope is that when you look at it, you too will feel a sense of release, of transcending the weight of life’s pressures and finding your own peace.

Reminiscence
This piece emerged during a time when I desperately needed to reconnect with nature and myself. Waterfalls have always symbolized cleansing for me, a way to wash away the weight I carry, especially in moments when anxiety feels like it's closing in. The deep greens and cascading water were my way of stepping into a lush, hidden sanctuary—somewhere untouched by the stress and chaos of everyday life.
Creating this was like taking a breath of fresh air after feeling like I couldn’t breathe. The quartz crystals embedded in the piece mirror the grounding energy I find when I’m in nature—anchoring me when I feel lost. I hope this painting brings that same sense of renewal and release to anyone who views it, offering a moment of escape, like stepping into a peaceful, healing waterfall.

Ultramarine Lights
This painting came from a place of wonder and longing to explore beyond my current state. When I created this, I was searching for something greater than myself—a sense of connection to the vastness of the universe, where my anxieties could dissolve into something infinite and untouched by human worries. I wanted to explore the intersection of nature and the cosmos. The deep blues and swirling galaxies became a place I could mentally escape to when I needed to feel small but safe, reminded that there’s so much more beyond the pressures of life.
As I painted, I found myself drawn into the calm and mystery of the stars, each brushstroke helping me release a little more of the tension I had been carrying. I hope that when someone sees this, they feel that same pull towards the unknown, a gentle reminder that there is beauty in letting go and floating through the cosmos of our own minds.

Mystic Skies
This piece was born out of a period where I was caught between tension and release, balancing on the edge of letting go. The purples and golds are symbolic of the moments when my mind races with overwhelming thoughts but also when I find those rare, glowing moments of peace. Creating this felt like a dance between chaos and calm—the splashes of gold are my moments of clarity amidst a sea of uncertainty.
There’s something about looking up at the night sky that reminds me I’m part of something larger. It’s a way to remind myself that I can transcend the internal battles I face. The galaxy in this painting represents that feeling of hope, those glowing bits of light that can guide you through even the darkest times. I hope when others see this piece, they feel that same glimmer of possibility—a sense that no matter how chaotic life becomes, there’s always light to be found.
